Hi All,
First of all, on behalf of the SeaMonkey Project, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New Year!
To start things off, the SeaMonkey Project is pleased to release a security update to SeaMonkey 2.53.22 due to some security fixes.
Please check out [1] and/or [2].

No internal update?
Well thanks for this – I think.
I concede the reference to “different source code branch” lends some hope to the current situation whereby many many sites simply don’t function in SeaMonkey now. I have UBO and UMatrix (which used to allow granular functionality but now simply does not with SeaMonkey).
You can blank out the name – I’m not associated with them but I have been using Basilisk more and more frequently (which again does not work on all sites) but at the present time is proving more compatible in general. Add-ons are essentially the same but more current than those available for SeaMonkey.
My one remaining 32bit machine has been relegated to Palemoon (using Alien to convert the MX .deb to rpm) and Basilisk.
Just my two cents.
Great! and very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New Year!
Thanks for your continued support of SeaMonkey!
But this time the german version does not update automatically from SeaMonkey 2.53.22 to 2.53.23.
